A beautiful puppy named Maaya came to live with us from when she was 8 weeks & 1 day old!  We knew she would be our show dog but didn't know what else we would do with her back then since we didn't even know how talented she would be as a performance dog.

 

Maaya is a daughter of Jada who is a 2010 FCRSC National Winners Bitch, out of Koby who was a Breed Winner of the 2012 Westminster Kennel Show and had multi BIS winners. See her pedigree

 

As expected, she finished her Can/Am Championship easily, particularly her Can Ch was fisnished before she turned 17 months of age and moreover, she finished her Can GCh so quickly with limited showing when only we had a chance to do and her GCh points were earned from every shows she was in by getting only BOB & BOS awards at a little over 2 years of age representing as the very 1st female Flatcoat achieving GCh in Canada!  

 

After her Can GCh title, we started doing AKC shows for her Am Ch title while we also worked on training for obedience and hunt titles. The year (May 2013 though May 2014) was really a tough year for a female flatcoat to finish an Am Ch title in WA and OR but she didn' have much hard time getting the required points to finish her Am Ch title before her turning 34 months old.

 

When she was a puppy, some experienced field/obedience trainers told us that she wanted to please you and she would do well whatever you do.  Not taking their word seriously, we started training and she makes us so amazed even with our unskilled trainig! See her achievments

 

She was not only a wonderful show dog but was also truly our dream versatile dog!!

We sadly had to let her go unexpectedly one month short to her 12th birthday.  We'll so miss you, Maaya.....until we see each other again....
